Beauty World is a 1960’s to 80’s retail hub that require refurbishment. The Beauty World Plaza, Beauty World Centre and Bukit Timah Shopping Centre all in need of refurbishment to catch up with the country development. Big change to Beauty World started with the opening of Beauty World MRT station in 2015, with increase human traffic due to the opening of the MRT station, Beauty World is ready to undergo it’s revamp.
URA announce in 2019 that along with the Rail Corridor project, Beauty World will undergo series of changes, in order to inject vibrancy to the area, street activities will be added to the area. Lush landscaping will also be added to the area to enhance the walking experience to Rail Corridor and its nearby attractions.
